The freeride trails of the Alpen Bike Park were used during the Swiss biking and downhill championships in 2009. Since then, the trails which are perfectly fitted into the natural surroundings, have been very popular among local bikers. The freeride trails at the backyard mountain of Chur offer beginner, advanced and pro level difficulties. Therefore, fun is guaranteed for everybody visting Alpen Bike Park. The four stages Schwarzwald Nr. 264, Fülian Nr. 266, Pizoggel Nr. 265 and Städeli Nr. 267 are fully signposted and separated from the hiking trails.

The Brambrüesch aerial cableway offers special day and season passes for the riders. For further informtion you can ask at the valley station.  Downhill Mountain bikes can be rented at the Freeridestore Bundicycling, which is situated just opposite of the city station of the Brambrüesch gondola.  The shop is open between 15 June to 19 October on Saturdays from 08:30h until 17h and on Wednesdays from 13.30h until 18h.  During the Summer season of the Brambrüesch gondola, the renting of mountain bikes is possible daily (reservation by telephone necessary).
