Blue Mountain

Blue Mountain /

Ontario's largest Bike Park, Blue Mountain Bike Park has something for every level of rider. Whether you're in the mood for a scenic cross-country ride along gentle terrain or a more serious shred down the Escarpment’s best single-track downhill trails, Blue Mountain is the place to ride.

There are three dedicated XC trails on offer, alongside 17 DH trails which vary in difficulty from The Groove beginner trail up to the more serious double-black diamond graded Shot Glass. Blue Mountain is currently embarking on the second phase of a Bike Park expansion with Whistler's Gravity Logic trail building team. There is also a Pump Track, accessible off Cory's Loop XC trail.

The unique biological make-up and high clay content of the Niagara Escarpment makes Blue Mountain Bike trails vulnerable to rain and harsh weather conditions. Safety of riders is their number one priority, as is protecting the sustainability of the trails and the ecological balance of the surrounding environment. So standard operating procedures exist for the opening and closing of the trails, involving inspection by either the Blue Mountain Trail Crew or Bike Patrol.

There may be occasions when the trails can't open until later in the day, but you can always get the latest info at the following link:
