Part of the Alpi Bike Resort in the north-west Italian Alps, Sauze d'Oulx Bike Park has one of the biggest and well structured bike parks in the region. Accessible by chairlifts and by road using vehicle uplifts, the trails area seems to have been made intentionally for gravity mountain biking, with over 1000m of vertical drop through Italian alpine meadows and larch tree woods. Designed by some of the best international trail builders around, particular attention has been given to trail 'flow' making for super-fun trails when riden at any speed.
The Jouvenceaux-Sarnas-Sportina chairlift provides the access to 13 marked trails; 2 easy, 10 medium, and 1 difficult grade. There are plenty of technical artificial features to keep you entertained, from wooden drops and wall-rides to dirt doubles, table-tops and step-ups. The higher altitude section of the bike park is more dedicated to Enduro, with 3 steep and technical trails that alternate with 'flow' sections. Long, natural trails with epic panoramic views. And most trails bring you back to the center of the village so plenty of options for grabbing a post-ride beer or two.
