At the northern end of Lake Garda, amongst unforgettable scenery, is a new bike park in conjunction with the Busatte Adventure park. The park area itself has a trials area, skills loop, bmx track and a short 2km cross country track to entertain you, and combined with the adventure park (high ropes courses) could provide hours of fun for a family of riders for the day.
It’s beyond the park itself though that you’ll need to look to find the best riding and the area boasts some of the best there is. Shuttle and guiding services are offered by a number of local businesses including Carpentari Bike Shop in Torbole.
A short drive down the eastern side of the lake is the Malcesine cable car which takes you up to Monte Baldo, a 1650 height gain. The coolest feature is that you go up in large rotating cabins that allow you to really appreciate the scenery as you ascend. Once out on Monte Baldo you can set about enjoying some of the best natural terrain in the world and giving your arms a real workout in the process. But make sure you take a map (look out for the Kompass Maps #690) as a mistake will mean a serious climb out!
