With a famous downhill mountain bike racing history, Mount Snow aims to recapture the glory days of the past. There's plenty of development to come but here's how the bike park stacks up for 2014...

Beginner Trails: No green DH trail (only a base 'loop'), with one blue trail billed as a "DH intro" trail rather than beginner, although is actually similar to a beginner trail.
Intermediate Trails: The blue trail seemed too easy - more like a beginner trail, but did have blue options in places.
Advanced Trails: A serious DH race trail, but could in general 'up' the difficulty level.
Technical trails: Some very technical DH sections.
Flow/jump trails: A good freeride trail (No.9) but just the one of them.
Trail variety:  
Trail Conditions: Considering the weather - not bad at all (except No.10).
Trail signposting: Only numbered - get creative and give them names!
Other trails in area: A valley trail network and the Crosstown Trails - ask for details in the shop. We did not have time to investigate further though. N/A

Family-friendly: A growing focus on family adventure camps.
Restaurants: Not a main meal sort of place – need to head to town.
Nightlife: Need to drive to D Bags etc.
Random: Great pump track next to Mount Snow Sports.
