Double U at Fassa

For the second in the new series of awesome trails around the world we cross the pond and head to Europe. Fassa Bike Park in the Italian Dolomites has some of the most breathtaking scenery in the World - it's almost hard to concentrate on the trails! Fassa is split between the 2 hubs of Canazei-Belvedere and Buffaure, with the Double-U trail dropping from 2383m altitude off the top of the Col Dei Rossi at Belvedere.

This super-fast track starts with natural parabolic single-track enhanced with berms and features to crank up the fun factor. It flows down into the Gardeccia Valley and then into the woods. The trail has one of the most incredible views of the Dolomites: the Marmolada glacier behind you, the Sassolungo in fron of you, the Sella Group on the right and a huge panorama of the Fassa Valley on the left.

Some great filming for this video, with camera facing backwards from the first rider looking at the rider chasing behind. Also very cool how it's in sync with the graphic in the top right of the screen giving you big picture position on the trail and rally-car style direction indications! Thanks to Matteo Soraperra for this piece of action.
