Thunder Goat at Queenstown

This week we head back down-under to New Zealand, where Queenstown Bike Park got a brand new flow trail for 2014. Funded by Skyline Queenstown Gondola and built by the expert hands of Tom Hey and his crew at Extra Mile Trail Building and Empire of Dirt, the Thunder Goat trail is a green trail that starts from the mid-way clearing and swoops its way down the hill, but don't let the fact that it's 'only a green' put you off. With wide, flowing berms and an epic vista view of Lake Wakatipu and the mighty Remarkables this is a must-ride trail of the bike park and will put a huge smile on your face. The trail drops out of the open and back into the trees, before sending riders straight back to the gondola terminal to do it all again.
