Day 20: More rain in Todtnau

Day 20: Bike repair and Tim jets off. No riding today – more torrential rain. Not even sure the lift opened but we didn’t want to go outside to find out! In the end I had to leave the warm to drive Tim to Zurich Airport for his little trip to Scotland. And Dan had to start working on the bikes otherwise we wouldn’t have anything to ride tomorrow! As we were expecting the rain and a day off the bikes we kept a couple of images back for today’s post…

Ended the day with a huge feed in the Gasthaus Feldberg restaurant. The Hirschgoulasch Försterin (Venison Goulash – “Forester-style”) is epic. Consider coming here just for that, never mind the bike park!! Tomorrow off to Bad Wildbad, weather looks good, bikes are working (sort of) and we will get a good few hours of riding in assuming we don’t have too much of that Black Forest Devil liqueur with Andreas tonight…
