Day 4: The Road Part Sucks

Day 4: Travel to Tignes. Packing up this morning was tough – 2 Alpes was awesome and we set off for Tignes in high spirits. That soon changed as we hit the Marmot road race coming the other way and took 2 hours fighting our way past 9000 lycra clad racers!

A couple of high alpine passes later and a quick stop in the cold at 2770m. As you can see the scenery was stunning but this is all that can be said for 5 hours on the road and no riding. We are sulking this evening. Tomorrow is looking better. Quick chat with the Canyon guys has us set up with demo bikes and the weather forecast is again hot and sunny – we must be taking it with us!
