Introduction

Five years in the making, the Alyeska Bike Park has come to fruition from the hard work of our trail builders and management staff alike to bring the only lift-accessed bike park in Alaska to the masses. Riders who come to the Alyeska Bike Park will find not only challenging terrain and technical features but also stunning views of the surrounding Chugach Mountains and Turnagain Arm. Nestled in the mountains just 40 miles south of Anchorage, the Alyeska Bike Park offers up dozens of trails featuring pumps, rhythms, jumps and berms. Riders will also find man-made wooden features throughout the park. Most terrain is considered intermediate but expert as well as beginner terrain can be easily accessed. The Alyeska Bike Park features two lifts and terrain is accessed via Ted's Express and Bearcub Quad on the Daylodge side of the resort.

Alyeska is located in Girdwood, Alaska. It's only 40 miles from Ted Stevens International Airport in Anchorage, AK. Also, there are 3 national parks in close proximity to Alyeska Resort. Just 90 miles away is Kenai Fjords National Park. Wrangell-St. Elias National Park is only 220 miles NE, and Denali National Park (with the highest peak in North America @ 20,320ft!) is just 275 miles straight north of Aleska Resort. There's world-class fishing, kayacking & sight-seeing around Alyeska Resort in south-central Alaska.

The bike park is open Friday-Sunday, generally from July-Oct (weather dependent). Call ahead as significant rain fall can be an issue. Dedicated DH bikes are the go-to rig for Alyeska. Although, experienced riders can make do with less travel & specs. There are DH rentals available at Alyeska Resort. It's a good idea to call ahead and reserve. The bike park trail crew have been busy maintaining existing trails and adding man-made features for your riding pleasure.
