The Cottage Grove Bike Park is in a 3 acre all inclusive Urban style bike park in an up and coming young neighborhood in the City of Cottage Grove, Mn, a suburb of St. Paul, Mn. It is free to the public and is a grassroots effort. The park has been built primarily by volunteers with the assistance of the local IMBA chapter, The Minnesota Off Road Cyclist (www.morcmtb.org), as well as the City of Cottage Grove Parks and Rec Department.
Cottage Grove Bike Park, at this time, has completed phase one and part of phase two, of three phases. The park is now open dawn till dusk weather permitting and includes a 4x track, two pump tracks and three progressive jump lines. We will complete phase two with the addition of a tot track, an area designed for 16 inch wheels and smaller, next spring and will open the park for the 2015 season with a 4x track, 2 pump tracks, tot track and 3 dirt jump lines.

Phase three of the park is dependent on funding but is scheduled to begin the summer of 2016 and be complete by fall of 2016. This phase will include an all inclusive mountain bike skills course to help riders develop the skills needed to ride all aspects of this bike park but also any mountain bike trail they may encounter. Phase 3 will also include a slope style course with similar feature to the L and XL slope style course located in Valmont Bike Park in Boulder Co.
