The original Cleveland location of Ray's MTB opened in the second half of 2004. The 92,000 sq ft (8,500 m2) park only operates during the colder half of the year, but gives 7 individual rooms for all riders to find plenty to do.
This indoor bike park is aimed both to improve skills and introduce riders to new disciplines as well as providing riding facilities during the winter. It is unique in that different riding styles are found in proximity to each other. Popular enough to open another location in Milwaukee in 2010, Rays is growing year on year and they may well have found a new template of bike park that is is bound to continue to grow interest, and imitators around the world.
