Introduction

Jackson Hole Bike Park has partnered with Whistler Gravity Logic to dial-in their trail system for maximum flow! The Teewinot Chair Lift quickly transports mountain bikers back to the top for gravity-fueled downhill runs all day long. The Bike Park is part of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and is located in Teton Village, Wyoming. There is a full-service bike shop at the base of the mountain. Full suspension mountain bike rentals, and mountain bike instruction and guided tours are available as well. There are daily non-stop flights from 9 major U.S. cities to the airport at Jackson Hole. Idaho Falls, ID is 90 miles to the west of JH.  "Friday Night Bikes" happens every Friday (July12-Sept13) with the lift running till 7pm and drink specials at Tin Can Cantina. The bike park will be open daily from June 15 - Sept 15, 2014.

Jackson Hole is conveniently situated next to Grand Teton National Park and is only 90 miles south of Yellowstone National Park. This place does not suffer from a lack of natural beauty. Hiking, rock climbing, mountaineering, and whitewater rafting are just a few of the activities available to visitors. Good accommodations and restaurants are plentiful in Teton Village. We can personally vouch for the great food at Teton Thai Restaurant which is just a 2-minute walk from the lift.

Trail Descriptions

  • Lucky Charm: This is the easiest trail with the most breathtaking views of all the downhill trails. This weaves around beautiful trees that line the trail. There is a 400 ft. wide wooden bridge that goes through a granite boulder field.
  • Trapper: Here is another beginner trail that is a little bit more narrow. It is a step up from Lucky Charm.
  • Bandit: Here is a great trail that offers small features for beginners and advanced level riders. It offers a medium sized table top, jumps, and bermed turns.
  • True Grit: This trail is for those who want to ride fast and catach a little air time. A great trail when you are ready to step up from Bandit.
  • Bronco: Are you ready! This trial has smooth bermed turns and awesome wooden bridge features.
  • Quick Draw: This is the most technical of all the trails at Jackson Hole. It is a fast narrow trail with rock drops and roots.

We cannot end our overview of Jackson Hole Bike Park without mentioning the epic Teton Pass DH/FR trails(made famous in the mtb documentary "Freedom Riders") that are a must-do for experienced mtb riders looking to step-it-up a notch! Trails like: Fuzzy Bunny, Jimmy's Mom, Lithium, Power Line, and Parallel are all accessible via a ridicuously easy shuttle drive to the pass. Teton Pass is just 14 miles from JH Bike Park. No excuses!
