Introduction

Mount Snow Bike Park opened its slopes to mountain biking 32 years ago, and its been putting smiles on dirt-covered faces every summer since then! Each season provides more trail upgrades, integrating features like berms, ladders, manmade surfaces, and dirt jumps. You'll find groomed, smooth riding on our long beginner trail, while other trails serve up huge portions of steep, rocky, root-infested tracks!

The resort at Mount Snow has hosted dozens of major mtb events and races over the years, such as the Eastern States Cup DH Finals which will return to Mount Snow this October for the 9th year in a row. Located in southern Vermont in Green Mountain National Forest, Mount Snow Bike Park is close to many large metropolitan areas. Albany, NY is just 67miles to the southwest of Mount Snowand Boston, MA is only 133miles to the southeast. The base elevation is 1,900ft., and the top elevation is 3,600ft.

The Bike Park is open Wed-Sun through Sept. 7 from 10:00am - 5:00pm. After Sept. 7, the Bike Park switches to a Fri-Sun schedule until October 14.

In 2011, Mount Snow started construction on a top-to-bottom "beginner" DH trail, Gateway. It's now one of the longest DH runs in New England with 2.5 miles of trail to ride. The past few years have also seen major improvements to their freestyle trail, Bullwhip, with added ladder drops, bigger jumps, and taller berms.

MT SNOW SPORTS (802-464-6640) is located in the Grand Summit Resort Hotel. They are a full-service repair and tune bike shop. XC to full-on DH bike rentals are available with a full complement of protective gear for rent as well. Demo bikes are also available if you're looking to try out the latest gear.
