Mountain Creek Bike Park and Specialized Bicycle Components announce on April 10th that they will be working together for the 2014 bike season. Specialized is the “Official Gravity Bike Partner” for the resort’s upcoming season set to open on Saturday May 3rd. Mountain Creek’s rental fleet will consist of 50 Specialized 2014 Demo 8 FSR I’s. With their FSR suspension, DH race geometry, and Butcher tires.

Hard Work Pays Off For Mt Bachelor

Mt Bachelor is a dormant volcano and that is evident on the upper trails as they weave in and out of Lava flows. The trails take advantage of the natural terrain of gullies and ridges with outstanding views of the surrounding Cascade Mountains. Currently the trails are mostly natural but there will be manmade features added as we work through the construction. The trails are a mix of excavated machine built and hand built single track.

Sun Peaks Bike Park features a wide variety of riding “styles”; lots of natural singletrack as well as machine made, with a variety of manmade features. They have plenty of steep DH, some technical and some built for maximum velocity, as well as some great freeride trails loaded with features.
